When the monorail wins
East-side Strip legs (Caesars ↔ MGM), conference commuting from Westgate, and heat-wave midday transfers. It runs behind the strip's east edge, avoiding street crowds — and never stops for traffic.
When it doesn't
West-side resorts (Bellagio's tram is free, Caesars' Palace station connects internally) and airport transfers — the monorail doesn't serve the airport. Buy from an online vendor or your hotel concierge; the single-ride kiosks overprice compared to the online rate.
